Job as a support person for parents who have a child in care

Do you want to make a difference for parents who have had their child placed outside the home, and do you have extra hours? Then we would really like to hear from you.

Rebild Municipality has an ongoing need for support persons under the Child Act § 75 for guardians of children and young people in placement.

Support persons' tasks can contribute to

• helping parents to come to terms with and accept the placement
• improving parenting during the placement
• strengthening the contact between the child and the parents
• listening to the parents
• daring to give parents feedback
• assisting with the investigation of issues in contact with the public system, including contacting the municipality if needed
• assisting with meeting preparation and handling thereof
• reading and understanding written material related to the placement
• participating in meetings concerning the placement

A support person's tasks are not of a treatment-related nature, nor are they a party representative or advocate.

The aim of the intervention is furthermore to support the parents so that they more strongly feel that they still matter to the children, even during the placement.

Your application will be stored on an internal list. You will not be contacted regarding a job interview, but if relevant you will be contacted and offered a position. Your application is kept for 5 years.

In connection with employment, a child and criminal record check will be obtained.

The expected number of hours is 3 hours per month and will be paid at 265 DKK per hour.
