About the job

Do you want to help create pathways to jobs, education and community for new citizens in Randers?

In Job & Integration we are looking for two engaged job consultants who are passionate about making a difference for refugees and other new citizens. The vast majority of our citizens are currently Ukrainians with residence under special law, and we work purposefully to ensure they become part of the labor community as quickly as possible.

In JOBRanders we work from our shared core task

We succeed when we purposefully and cross-disciplinary - and in collaboration with our fellow citizens - strengthen their path to education, work and participation in society.

As a job consultant you will become part of Jobparate and Integration in Center for Job & Competences. Here you will be part of a professionally strong team where we combine authority work, job-oriented initiatives and relationship-building work to support the citizens' path toward work, education or the right occupational clarification.

About the position

We experience increasing complexity in the target group, and therefore we seek colleagues who can both create trusting relationships, work job-oriented and conduct thorough employment-related clarifications.

The core of the job is to meet citizens with curiosity, respect and belief in their possibilities. You must be able to see resources and potentials, create motivation and support each citizen's development through a targeted effort and close collaboration with companies and other partners.

For some citizens the goal is ordinary employment or education, while others need a more clarifying effort, including with regard to work capacity, clarification rights and flex jobs. Therefore we seek employees who can work relationally and results-oriented, and who thrive on translating clarifications into concrete opportunities in the labor market.

Part of the position will also be to plan and implement job-seeking trajectories for citizens with focus on the Danish labor market, job searching, CV and application, use of digital job tools and preparation for job interviews. You must be able to convey knowledge in an motivating and practically oriented way and support citizens' active job searching.

Your tasks will include

  • Receive and support new citizens on their path to the labor market through motivating, clarifying and developmental conversations
  • Identify citizens' competencies, resources, health considerations and employment perspectives
  • Work with clarification regarding flex jobs and clarification rights when relevant
  • Establish company internships, wage subsidies, IGU programs and ordinary employments
  • Prospect companies and create new collaborations on the local labor market
  • Teach and guide citizens in job searching, including CV, applications, job interviews and use of digital job tools
  • Follow up on internship programs and support progression toward work or education
  • Handle authority tasks, including conversations, follow-up, documentation and journaling in Schultz Fasit

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Has a relevant educational background
  • Has experience from the employment sector and preferably knowledge of integration efforts, including experience with or interest in assessment of work capacity, clarification rights and flex jobs
  • Has strong relational skills and can create trust and motivation in people in various life situations
  • Is curious and skilled at uncovering resources, competencies and possibilities
  • Believes that results are created in close interaction with the citizen, the companies and the cross-disciplinary partners
  • Can balance an appreciative and relationship-building approach with focus on progression, job and education
  • Thrives with business outreach work and can create good collaborations with local companies
  • Enjoys teaching groups and can translate employment-related knowledge into practical learning
  • Is structured and can handle a larger case portfolio
  • Has good written skills
  • Has a driver's license and own car

We offer

  • A meaningful position where you make a concrete difference for people entering the Danish labor market
  • A varied daily life with extensive contact with both citizens and companies
  • An engaged team with high professionalism and strong collegial solidarity in a workplace marked by trust, humor and job satisfaction
  • Opportunity to shape and develop the business-oriented efforts
  • Professional sparring and good development opportunities

Wage and employment

The positions are 37 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement.
