The canteen at Campus Aarhus C is seeking a dishwasher. You must be an engaged and robust person who can work well alone. You must have a good overview and take responsibility. In addition, you should take pride in the fact that the most important place in the kitchen is in order, namely the dishwashing area. Here there is, for example, the possibility to have a fixed and good student job outside normal study hours.

At VIA University College we have a desire to have lively campus environments and to place our students at the center. The students should feel welcome and involved in everything related to their education and student life. This is especially expressed in our canteens, where our students daily have the opportunity to buy a healthy and tasty meal. We are continuously in dialogue with the students around the buffet in the canteen, and have dialogue meetings with the students. We do this to ensure that the meal we serve the students appeals to them, and gives them the desire to gather in our canteen environments.

The canteen at Campus Aarhus C prepares food for students on education programs, guests and staff; in total about 7,200 students and about 500 employees.

In the canteen we are 18 employees with diverse backgrounds.

The canteen's vision is to inspire and engage our customers with the food we serve, based on sustainability and the use of fresh, partly organic ingredients. We shall create a good atmosphere around the food, and we would like to surprise our customers while also meeting the official recommendations in the area.

YOUR TASKS

Your primary tasks lie in the dishwashing. Daily there are large quantities of dishes to wash and put away. In addition, the dishwashing room and fixtures must be kept clean and tidy.

Working hours are Monday-Friday from 16:30 - 21:30, weekend work may occur.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

• You are physically and mentally robust.
• You have good sense of order and a good overview.
• You preferably have experience with dishwashing from similar positions.
• You are service-minded and not afraid to deliver good service and communicate with our customers.
• You are a team player and actively and consciously contribute to a good working environment.
• You are quick to smile and good at communicating.

SALARY AND EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

Employment is in accordance with the OAO-S collective agreement and the organizational agreement for kitchen assistants in the state, etc. You are employed as an hourly paid employee and submit forms for your working time.

The position is 5-10 hours per week.

The place of employment is Campus Aarhus C, Ceresbyen 24, Aarhus C.
