In Sommerfuglen, the day is full of play, friendships, relationships, creativity, storytelling, theater and music. We have a green profile and spend a lot of time outdoors. We emphasize pedagogical development to ensure that our children meet adults who are ready with new approaches, are present and curious.

For us, safety and relationships are the foundation for the child's development and the child's ability to participate in the community. We are inspired by Susan Hart (neuroaffective pedagogy) and use narrative methods. We have a mentoring system for new staff in the house; it is important to us that everyone is well versed in pedagogy.

We have a close parent collaboration and expect parent involvement in the children's and the house's everyday life, two annual work days and parent events.

The kindergarten house can accommodate 24 preschool children and 12 toddlers. Sommerfuglen has a close collaboration with Kassebølle Friskole.

We are seeking 1 educator or pedagogical assistant. Permanent position of 37 hours from 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter in our nursery.

We expect

● You must be trained as an educator or pedagogical assistant

● You would like to work with music (ideally able to play guitar) and nature and outdoor life with the youngest children.

● You are interested in reflecting on your own practice with a focus on your personal-professional development, including monthly group supervision. If you have knowledge of working with mirroring and mentalization, that is a plus.

● You are present, creative and work for the good childhood in home-like settings.

● You keep the sense of community in mind both at work and when we organize social events with colleagues outside working hours.

● You can work independently and take initiative.

● You are smiling and full of good humor and can join a team of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
