Boiler and Machinery Operator sought for Bornholm's electricity production

About the job

You will be part of a seasoned and dedicated team responsible for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of the boiler, turbine and motor systems at the CHP plant.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Operation and monitoring of production facilities
• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Inspection, fault finding and repair of mechanical plant components
• Starting and stopping of plant equipment in connection with production
• Participation in the on-call rota
• Contributing to continuous optimization of plants and work processes

About you

We imagine that you have a craft or technical background such as

• Blacksmith
• Mechanic
• Industrial technician
• Plumber/pipefitter
• Machinist
• Or similar relevant training within crafts

In addition we value that you

• Work independently and take responsibility
• Are curious and eager to learn
• Thrive with both operation, maintenance and fault-finding
• Have a good overview and can stay calm in pressure situations
• Are a team player who contributes positively to collaboration

If you have a boiler operator certificate, that is an advantage. If not, we expect you to be motivated to complete the training after hiring.
