We are seeking a kitchen worker or nutrition assistant for a fixed-term position from 1 September to 1 February . The position is for 30-32 hours per week .

About the position

You will be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen at Vangede Børnehus, which consists of 32 infants in the toddler group and about 50 preschool children . You will work independently with cooking, purchasing and planning and organizing the meals. It will be possible to consult with a colleague from our other nursery, Cassiopeia.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Development of menu plans
• Purchasing
• Preparation of lunch for the children
• Preparation of afternoon meals and snacks
• Ensuring a healthy and varied diet in accordance with current recommendations
• Compliance with self-monitoring, hygiene and food safety
• Tidying up and cleaning in the kitchen

We expect that you

• Can work independently and take responsibility for the kitchen's daily operations
• Have an interest in healthy food and nutrition
• Are organized and good at planning
• Preferably have knowledge of food hygiene and self-monitoring
