About the job

Do you want to help develop the leisure club of the future at Frederiksberg?

Club Comet is rapidly evolving. We are growing in membership, developing new offerings and strengthening our communities. Therefore we are seeking two educators for our club team. One position is a newly created expansion due to more members, while the other has become vacant. We advertised the position before the summer holidays, but chose to keep searching because we believe the right match makes a difference.

At Skolen på Grundtvigsvej we work from the underlying principle

Everyone belongs and everyone has something to contribute.

We believe that children do the right thing if they can, and that all children have both special needs and special talents. Therefore we work purposefully to create participation opportunities, strong communities and meaningful leisure lives for all children.

A club with ambitions

In Club Comet you will be part of an engaged team consisting of eight educators and two club assistants. Together we develop a leisure club where children meet adults with energy, professionalism and a desire to create something together with them.

We work with interest communities, creative workshops, movement activities, trips, events and new traditions. At the same time we are focused on creating a club environment where all children feel they belong and have the opportunity to contribute to the community.

We are therefore looking for you, who not only seeks a job, but who wants to help set the direction for a club in development.

About the position

The position includes both school and club hours.

You will have approximately

  • 8 hours per week at the school
  • 17 hours per week in the club
  • one fixed evening shift per week
  • hours for trips, events and special activities throughout the year

In the school, you will be part of a close collaboration with teachers and educators regarding children in grades 3–5. We work project-oriented with a focus on well-being, participation and strong child communities.

We hope that you

  • Are educated as an educator
  • Have a desire to help develop a leisure club in 2026
  • Are passionate about relationship-building and strong child communities
  • Have particular interests or competencies within, for example, creative activities, movement, music, community projects or outdoor life
  • Can see opportunities rather than limitations and create participation opportunities for children who need an extra push into the community
  • Thrive with responsibility and initiative
  • See value in the collaboration between school and leisure

With us you get

  • Opportunity to shape a club in development
  • A strong and engaged colleagues’ community
  • A high degree of influence on activities and areas of work
  • A newly renovated club villa in Frederiksberg with good facilities and many opportunities
  • A workplace where professional development, community and children’s well-being are central

The positions are 34 hours per week.

Wages and terms of employment follow the current collective agreement with BUPL. Criminal background and child-safety checks are obtained upon employment.

Starting 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

Application deadline is Thursday, 22 October at 12:00. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.

Applications are submitted via Frederiksberg Municipality's website. The application may be a maximum of one page. CV, attachments and certificates are enclosed.
