Kitchen assistant for canteen in Kolding – 4 hours per day

Would you like to help serve a tasty lunch for our 30-60 daily diners? We are looking for a versatile kitchen assistant for our canteen in Kolding, who can assist throughout the production – with particular focus on the hot kitchen.

About the job

As our client's new kitchen assistant you will be an important piece in making lunch service run smoothly. You will work closely with the rest of the team to prepare and finish today’s dishes. Since we serve both cold and hot items, the job includes stepping in in the hot kitchen during the lunch rush.

Working hours are fixed Monday to Friday in the time window 11:00 – 15:00 .

Your primary tasks

• Assist with the preparation of hot dishes and warm presentations
• Slice, chop and prepare ingredients for the salad bar and cold dishes
• Replenishment and presentation of the buffet during lunch
• Clearing away, light cleaning and dishwashing in connection with the production

We imagine that you

• Can start immediately as there is an urgent need
• Have experience from a canteen, café or similar
• Thrive with the steady flow around a lunch service
• Are efficient, reliable and have an eye for hygiene
• Can communicate in Danish or English
