At HOFOR we serve breakfast every day and a delicious lunch buffet for around 90 guests. Here we focus on seasonal ingredients, tasty food and the small details that make the buffet especially inviting.

You will be part of a small two-person kitchen team – you and the canteen manager. We work closely together, help each other with the day’s tasks and have the freedom to shape a good everyday life in collaboration.

Some days are busier than others, but there is always room for good humor, cozy moments and a good chat with the guests.

Your tasks

You will primarily be responsible for the hot section, where you prepare food for both breakfast and lunch. At the same time we help each other across the kitchen so that the day’s tasks are solved together.

You will, among other things,

• Prepare the hot dishes for breakfast and the lunch buffet
• Contribute ideas for the week's menu
• Assist with preparation, filling and serving
• Take part in washing up, cleaning and other practical tasks in the kitchen
• Ensure daily preparation and cleaning of the coffee machines on a rotating basis

Who are we looking for?

You preferably have experience from a similar role in a canteen or a large kitchen and thrive working in the hot kitchen. You take responsibility for your tasks, but are also a team player.

In addition, we emphasize that you

• Are outgoing and greet the guests with a smile and service at eye level
• Work in a structured way and keep an overview – even when many pots are on the stove
• Speak and understand Danish, so you can communicate with both guests and colleagues

• Attractive working hours: Monday–Thursday 06:00-14:00 and Friday 06:00-13:30
