Job Description

Do you want to be closely involved with Børsen's partnerships, events and education?

Børsen is seeking an intern from the 3rd semester of the Communications program at DMJX for spring 2027.

How do you build a strong partnership between Børsen and some of Denmark's largest companies? How do you develop events and education that decision-makers actually prioritise time for? And how do you translate a commercial idea into a concept and an experience that creates value for both users and partners?

You can help find the answers to these questions.

As an intern in Partnerships & Education you will become part of the commercial development at Børsen and will work across three areas: our strategic partnerships, Børsen's largest events and our education business.

You will be close to both idea development, analysis, communication and execution - and have the opportunity to follow projects from the initial ideas and partner dialogues to the finished experience.

A business in development

Børsen is much more than the newspaper that lands on the breakfast table.

These years we are developing new ways to bring our journalism, brand and position in Danish business to life. We do this, among other things, through strategic partnerships, events and education targeted at Danish business and its decision-makers.

In Partnerships & Education we work, for example, with Børsen Gazelle, larger business and societal agendas, commercial partnerships with some of Denmark's largest companies as well as education and masterclasses in leadership, AI and board work.

A common thread across the projects is that we aim to create products and partnerships that are commercially strong and relevant for Børsen's users.

You will be part of it.

What will you work with?

We will of course tailor the tasks to your competences and learning goals, but you will among other things be able to work with:

Partnerships and commercial communication

You help us understand companies and markets and translate that knowledge into stronger partner dialogues. This could include:

  • Research companies, industries, competitors and current agendas
  • Prepare short briefs before meetings with potential partners
  • Adapt pitch decks, presentations and sales materials to specific companies
  • Develop our case library and make previous partnerships usable in new pitches
  • Follow relevant news and identify opportunities for new partnerships
  • Help develop and qualify concepts and partner activations

Events

Børsen hosts six large events during the year, and as an intern you will come behind the scenes and help ensure their success. You can for example:

  • Assist with planning, coordination and execution of events
  • Coordinate partner activation before and during the event
  • Develop questionnaires and evaluations
  • Manage participant lists and practical information
  • Ensure documentation of partners' exposure and follow up after the event
  • Be present on event days and experience how a large Børsen-format is brought to life

Education

Børsen also has an education business with, among other things, board education and masterclasses for leaders and decision-makers.

Here you will have the opportunity to work with the entire participant journey and the communication around a training programme - for example:

  • Development of content for social media
  • Information emails and communication to participants
  • Coordination with venues and other suppliers
  • Preparation and execution of training days
  • Development and setup of evaluations
  • Follow-up with instructors and partners based on the evaluations

There will also be practical and administrative tasks. We believe you learn the business by both understanding the strategy and helping to make things happen.

What do you get with us?

We are not looking for an intern who sits on the sidelines for six months. You become part of the team and gain insight into the considerations and decisions behind our projects. You will have your own areas of responsibility, but also ongoing sparring and feedback.

You will receive, among other things

  • Experience with communication in a commercial context
  • Insight into partnerships, events and education as business areas
  • Experience with research, analysis, stakeholder communication and presentations
  • Opportunity to work with colleagues across Børsen - including sales, marketing, editorial, Customer Solutions and events
  • Contact with companies, instructors, partners and decision-makers
  • Opportunity to gradually take on more independent responsibility during the internship
  • A physical workplace at Børsen in Copenhagen and flexibility when tasks permit

Who are you?

You don’t need to know yet whether you want to work with communications, media, consulting, events or commercial development after your studies.

The most important thing is that you are curious about companies, people and communication - and want to understand why some ideas and narratives work better than others.

We also imagine that you

  • Enjoy researching and getting into new topics
  • Communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
  • Have a sense of structure and detail
  • Are willing to share ideas and challenge the way we do things
  • Both like thinking and executing
  • Take responsibility for your tasks and ask when you are unsure.

You will not be able to do everything from day one. We do not expect that either.

Your internship supervisor

Your internship supervisor will be Mark Hallander, Director of Partnerships & Education at Børsen .

Mark has the overall responsibility for Børsen's commercial partnerships and education business and works on the development of new concepts, strategic partnerships, events and education products across Børsen.

As an intern you will therefore have the opportunity to get close to both the strategic considerations and the concrete execution.

You will develop a learning plan together at the start of the internship and will regularly follow up on your goals, tasks and development. In addition, there will be regular mentoring and feedback throughout the internship. The goal is that you, along the way, take on more responsibility and become wiser about both the communications profession and the direction you want to develop in.

Would you like to join?

Then we would love to hear from you.

Send us your CV and a short application telling us a little about yourself, what you want to learn during the six months - and why you think the intersection of communication, business life and commercial development sounds interesting.

We look forward to hearing from you.
