About us

A1 Consult is a consulting engineering company that specializes in infrastructure within the market areas Ports and Water Building, Coasts and Climate Adaptation, as well as Construction and Utilities.

We are the smaller engineering company which, through high professionalism, holistic perspective and close collaboration, has gained a notable position in the Danish consultancy industry, making A1 Consult work on many larger civil engineering projects in Denmark.

Our structural designs span widely, and our projects always include load-bearing elements ranging from steel and concrete to wood.

Among concrete constructions we can mention all types of in-situ cast concrete structures such as quay infill, quay hammer, retaining wall constructions, outlet works, various foundations, etc., as well as inspection of various existing concrete structures for, among others, the Danish Road Directorate. Among steel constructions we can mention sheet piles, tension and anchor constructions, smaller bridges, noise barrier portals, etc. All steel structures are performed with bolted or welded joints.

Our clients range from the state to municipalities, from commercial harbors to yacht harbors and from contractors to developers.

About the job

Already now you have static competencies at a high and self-driven level within concrete and steel constructions, which you will use to strengthen our projects and our team. Your professionalism is important to you, both theoretically and practically, and you will have the opportunity to develop professionally as well as personally. Together we will develop a development plan, which we will follow up on. At the same time we recognize that work life must leave room for what is important to you in your life.

We expect that you

• Are a Diplom- or MSc in Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience – preferably more
• Have a good static understanding, are self-driven and passionate about your field
• Have experience as designer and as supervising structural engineer
• Are broadly technically grounded in concrete and/or steel constructions (strong static understanding)
• Possibly have a network of customers or collaborators
