Qualified and Independent Cleaning Technician/ Cleaning Assistant

The Cleaning Unit at Vejle Hospital

Do you work independently and efficiently? Then you may be the colleague we need in the Cleaning Unit at Vejle Hospital.

We are looking for both a day shift and an evening shift in the Cleaning Unit. Both positions are 37 hours per week with expected start on 16 November 2026, or after further agreement.

The working hours for the day shift are as day work in the period Monday-Friday 06:00-13:54, with weekend work every 4th weekend.

The working hours for the evening shift are as evening work in the period Monday-Thursday 14:00-21:54 and Fridays 13:00-20:54.

We are seeking cleaning assistants who also have

• A couple of years of cleaning experience, preferably including hospital cleaning
• A good practical manual dexterity and the willingness to clean
• Completed Danish course at level 2 and the ability to understand, speak and write Danish (if Danish is not your mother tongue)
• Good collaboration skills, service-minded, stable, flexible and who approach cleaning tasks with a positive attitude

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms for the position follow the collective agreement for Cleaning Assistants etc. – collective agreement 34.02.1 – salary as of 1.4.2026. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
