Lab Technician internship – start 1 February 2027

AGC Biologics A/S (AGC) is an international contract development organization within the biotech industry. We work with development of biopharmaceutical production and analytical processes as well as GMP production of protein-based medicines for both clinical trials and commercialization.

Laboratory apprentice positions in the analytical area for Analytical Method Development (AMD) and Late Stage Development (LSD)

We are currently seeking 3 interns starting February 1, 2027 for our AMD and LSD teams in Søborg. All positions are within the analytical area. We offer a 1-year internship in a dynamic and growing company with good opportunities to work with a broad and varied palette of tasks and challenges to benefit patients worldwide.

We expect that you bring substantial professional knowledge from your schooling, a strong drive, and a great desire to learn, both professionally and personally. We will ensure that you get a fixed internship supervisor attached to you, and that you are taught by a broad cross-section of our technicians and scientists with expertise in the relevant areas for you. In addition, you will become familiar with the CDMO industry and gain insight into method development for many different biological drugs. You will be part of a good social cohesion here with supportive colleagues.

As a laboratory intern in AMD, the HPLC department, you will work with

• Development of HPLC analyses such as affinity, size-exclusion and/or ion exchange chromatography with a focus on High Throughput Technology (HTT).
• Development of capillary electrophoresis methods.
• Independent data processing and delivery of results for approval to the chemist/scientist.
• Practical experience with Thermo Fisher HPLC equipment as well as Chromeleon chromatography software.

As a laboratory intern in AMD, the Bioassay department, as well as in LSD you will work with:

• A range of different analytical principles such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, SoloVPE (OD), qPCR and cell-based assays.
• Independent data processing and delivery of results for approval to the chemist/scientist.
• Working with high-throughput instruments, such as automation of ELISA using a dilution robot or high-throughput analysis with Octet HTX.

We expect that you

• Have completed (or expect to complete) the theoretical part of the Danish laboratory technician education before the internship starts.
• Have good English skills, both spoken and written.
