About us

The Defence Supply Service is a modern logistics company that supports Defence personnel with supplies.

The warehouses receive, store and deliver supplies to the Danish Defence, which are sent to units in Denmark, but also to units and external partners abroad.

You will become part of a team under Materials/Packaging/IT and the Production Section, which has warehouses and production sites all over Denmark. Our primary task is to receive, handle, and deliver the materiel purchased for the Defence.

About the position

We offer the right candidate a job where you will join a team that handles the tasks in the warehouses – including goods receipt, picking, dispatch, counts and other routine warehouse work. Including materiel that has been purchased for specific project-related tasks .

About you

It is desirable that you are educated as a warehouse and logistics operator or equivalent with a few years of experience with warehouse work, and that you are prepared to take supplementary courses as needed.

We expect that you, with good humor, are able to create good collaborative relations with your colleagues, and that you have a flexible approach to your own task solving and planning of your workday. You have a high professional level, and take pride in having your tasks performed correctly and on time.

Responsibility and quality are fundamental values for the Defence, and we expect you to take responsibility for, and help shape, the tasks you are given.

Our expectations of you as our new employee are that you are positive about change, have a flexible approach and contribute to the collaboration and keep focus on the task. Knowledge of English at user level, SAP R/3 as well as the Office suite and common warehouse procedures will be an advantage.

It is an advantage if you have experience driving a forklift and pallet stackers.

It is also advantageous if you have experience with handheld scanners and LEAN, as well as prior service in the Defence; likewise a flexible approach to participate in the section's other tasks.

Employment terms

The employment is governed by the applicable Common Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and public employee organizations – The State Sector (OAO-S common agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for cleaning assistants, sanitarians, semi-skilled workers and certain tradespeople in the state (3F)

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is a possibility for negotiation of additional pay. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

You will be attached to Korsør Remote Warehouse.

As an employee within the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain this throughout the employment.

You have as an employee a duty to render service outside the country’s borders, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peace-enforcing, humanitarian and other similar operations.

DEFENCE SUPPLY SERVICE

The Defence Supply Service became part of the Operational Support Command on 1 January 2026, which is a staff that plans, coordinates and partly manages logistical operations across the Defence and develops the logistics area and setup in step with Defence development.

The Operational Support Command consists, in addition to the staff, of four authorities with their own distinctive tasks: The Defence Maintenance Service, Defence Medical Command, Defence Supply Service and Joint Movement and Transport Organization.
