Farmer, agricultural technologist or similar sought for the Tystofte Foundation in Skælskør

Are you passionate about plants, precision and professional pride? Do you want a unique daily life at a workplace that actively shapes the future of farming, in the middle of one of Zealand's most beautiful areas?

At TystofteFonden we are looking for a committed and quality-conscious colleague for our team. You may be a trained farmer, agricultural technologist, horticulturist, agricultural economist, or have another strong green background. The most important is your engagement in crop production, your eye for detail and your desire for a varied daily routine.

What do we offer you?

When you step through the door at TystofteFonden, you are not just an employee – you become a central part of testing new varieties, as well as part of the official Danish variety testing. We offer a workplace where the framework and culture support both your well-being and your professional development:

• Workplace of excellence: You will work in our modern facilities located in the middle of Skælskør's fantastic, picturesque surroundings. We prioritise a good working environment with high ceilings and plenty of fresh air.
• High professionalism and specialization: You will work with the newest knowledge and technology in, among other things, variety testing. We ensure you thorough and in-depth training in our specialized methods, trial machines and systems, so you continually develop professionally.
• Meaningful work with great influence: Your data and observations in the field help determine which varieties are approved for future farming. You make a concrete difference for sustainability, yield and resistance in the sector.
• Strong community and informal culture: We place a very high value on collaboration, trust and a good working atmosphere. Although we work with great precision, there is always room for a smile, and we pull together – especially when things get busy in peak season.
• Modern machinery and equipment: You will have the opportunity to work with high-tech GPS and trial equipment, where precision and quality go hand in hand.
• Attractive terms: We offer orderly and stable working conditions, flexibility outside peak periods, as well as pay and terms of employment that match your qualifications.

Your primary tasks

• Establishment and care of experimental plots (sowing, fertilisation and crop protection).
• Observations and registrations in the field during the growing season.
• Harvesting of trials and subsequent treatment and analysis of samples.
• Operation and maintenance of specialized trial machines and GPS equipment.
• Participation in laboratory work and data recording.

We imagine that you

• Have experience with or strong interest in field trials and crop production .
• Are familiar with operating agricultural machinery (spray certificate and tractor license are required).
• Work in a structured and precise manner, as our results form the basis for official approvals.
• Are flexible with extra hours during sowing and harvest periods, in exchange for more freedom at other times of the year.

Who are we?
