Companion for driving in Copenhagen

Would you like to make a difference and strengthen HB-Care's efforts in passenger transport?

We are seeking a companion/driver's assistant for our department in Greater Copenhagen. Your route will primarily be from Lyngby to Geelsgårdskolen in Virum.

At HB-Care you will be part of a team consisting of engaged and dedicated employees who every day work to ensure safe and professional transport of citizens with special needs.

As a companion/driver's assistant you meet the driver at the pickup address – it could be the citizen's home, an institution or a predefined location. You participate in a fixed route where there is a need for extra support and attention around the citizens.

Working hours are about 10 hours distributed on weekdays and are split into two arrivals per day, morning and afternoon.

A companion must

• Be able to master Danish in writing and speech
• Be welcoming and empathetic
• Be punctual and duty-minded
• Have a natural caring and ability to create safety
• Be able to handle children/adults with special challenges in daily life, it can be mental and psychological

Your educational background is not decisive, as there can be many approaches to the position. We make sure to equip you well with thorough training and relevant courses.

There is the possibility for a commuter card, and start date is as soon as possible.
