Logistics Coordinator – Coop Transport

Coop Supply Chain is Denmark’s largest logistics company and the essential piece to ensure goods in Coop’s approx. 900 stores. As part of our strategy, Coop Supply Chain is on a major transformation journey, and we face a number of development projects to make our supply chain even more efficient.

Your new team

You will become part of Coop Transport, which in recent years has undergone an exciting journey, where the business has been significantly optimized through closer collaboration with our purchasing department, carriers and suppliers. You will help ensure that we are always competitive while we uphold our service ambition to our stores: “Together we ensure the demanded goods on the shelves at the lowest possible cost – fresh and on time.”

Coop Transport is part of Coop Supply Chain and consists of 3 departments. We are a total of 20 employees in the department. There is plenty of room to grow, and social interactions play a big role in our daily lives.

Your tasks in Goods Ready

• Ensure efficient handling of Coop’s freight from supplier to warehouse
• Ensure correct pickup and delivery dates in SAP
• Handle inquiries from suppliers, both written and by phone
• Various operations and ad hoc tasks
• Follow-up on deviations

About you

• are disciplined and work purposefully and structured
• have good knowledge of the Office suite and can easily learn new IT systems
• can maintain an overview with multiple daily deadlines
• are strong in written communication, in Danish and English
• have an eye for detail and at the same time an overview of tasks
• are eager to explore new and follow existing processes
• have a flexible approach to tasks

The position involves broad contact with both internal and external stakeholders. You are thus skilled at communicating with all interested parties, verbally and in writing. At the same time, you are good at working efficiently toward common goals. You succeed in delivering good results and solving challenges.
