At If we are looking for a leader for our Liability and Legal Expense team. The area delivers high-quality legal advice and claims handling to our customers every day. At the same time, claims handling is rapidly evolving, where AI, automation, digitalisation and new ways of working should contribute to even better customer experiences and more efficient processes.

Therefore we are seeking a leader who can both create results through people and drive the development of future ways of working, processes and competences.

About the role

The role consists of two areas of responsibility. First, you will have full management responsibility for Liability & Legal Expense in Denmark with responsibility for people, professionalism, quality and results.

Second, you will have a special responsibility for Claims Development in Denmark. You will help strengthen the organisation’s ability to succeed in a future characterised by AI, digitalisation, increased complexity and new customer needs.

This means you actively contribute to the development of competencies, processes, methods and ways of working across Large, Complex & International Claims.

This role is not only about leading a team: It is about developing the competencies and processes that will ensure that the claims organisation continues to deliver high professional quality, strong customer experiences and sustainable results in the future.

Your main tasks include, among others

Liability & Legal Expense

• Lead, develop and engage the team’s employees
• Ensure high professional quality and strong customer experiences
• Be responsible for performance, efficiency and results
• Ensure good governance, compliance and risk management
• Further develop the domain in line with market and customer needs

Claims Development

• Define and drive development initiatives of future competencies in claims
• Translate data and customer insights into improved processes and customer experiences
• Identify and realise business benefits through AI, automation and digital tools
• Promote data-driven decision making and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across the Nordics on best practice, capability development and innovation

About the team

You will lead a team of 10 skilled specialists with different professional profiles within liability, legal aid and legal advisory. The team handles both complex claim matters and legal issues for private and corporate customers and plays an important role in ensuring high quality, strong customer experiences and good business results.

The team is part of the Danish Large, Complex & International organisation, which counts 50 people. You will join a management team with a high ceiling and lots of opportunities for sparring, learning and development within many different case areas with skilled and dedicated colleagues.
