About the job

Center for Mastery and Community in Skive Municipality…

… seeks a maternity leave substitute with a relevant pedagogical education, preferably with experience with our target group, and with the tasks we perform in housing support.

Center for Mastery and Community, Skive provides housing support and guidance to citizens in their own homes with various challenges, for example acquired brain injury, developmental disabilities, ASD, psychiatric comorbidity, social challenges and/or substance abuse.

Additionally, there is Open Guidance as well as group programs for citizens at Jeppe Åkjærsvej 18, 7800 Skive, where we are located.

Furthermore, we run the Leisure Offer Café KURS, as well as an activity offer for elderly citizens in the target group, in premises located at Smøgen 2b, 7800 Skive.

We solve housing support and guidance tasks for citizens throughout Skive Municipality; the support can be provided either virtually, in our premises, or at the citizen’s home.

Our core task

In close collaboration with citizens and case workers, we work with habilitation efforts with an affirmative and resource-focused approach to the citizens.

The core task forms the pivot of our work and must be delivered with high quality and ongoing development for the citizens. Our goal is to support and guide the citizens in maintaining and developing their own resources through a targeted, structured and collaborative effort.

We work holistically and use, among other things, KRAP, as well as neuro-pedagogical and autism-pedagogical approaches.

Work tasks

You will primarily perform housing support tasks at the Center for Mastery and Community, but there may also be a need for you to help with tasks at Café KURS, mainly on Saturdays.

Your daily routine will consist of visits to citizens among a group of fixed citizens, where support and guidance are provided, and where the intervention is documented in Nexus in accordance with the granted services.

In addition, you will participate in case management meetings, professional sparring and supervision.

Working hours may be distributed on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00 and approximately every 6th weekend.

In case of illness, or when colleagues need to take time off or vacation, we help each other cover each other’s citizens.

We expect that you

  • have a pedagogical or other relevant educational background.
  • have experience working with housing support tasks under §85, as well as §83 extended provider, or simply driven by the desire to work with our target groups.
  • are able to maintain focus on the task/core task as ordered by the authorities.

  • are accommodating, recognizing and steady – and have a good sense of humor.
  • have experience using documentation systems, preferably Nexus – and are comfortable using IT.
  • can justify and document your professional competence, both orally and in writing.
  • have a driving license.

We offer

  • an department with good energy and high ceilings.
