Yes, but repeated fixed-term contracts require an objective reason under the Fixed-term Employment Act. Many temporary jobs also end in a permanent position.
Do I have the same rights in a temporary job?
A fixed-term employee may not be treated less favourably than a permanent employee just because the job is fixed-term. The Salaried Employees Act and collective agreements apply in the same way.
What happens when the temporary job ends?
The employment ends on the agreed date without notice, unless otherwise agreed. Register as unemployed with your unemployment fund from day one if you have no new job.
