About the position

Sjelle Autogenbrug is seeking a mechanic or sheet metal worker for our workshop. If you want to be part of the green transition in the automotive industry and work with newer cars and the latest technology, it might be you we are looking for.

You will primarily work on cars that are 0-8 years old. A large part of the cars we buy for scrapping are electric vehicles, so it is advantageous if you have an interest in EVs and high-voltage technology. We have invested in all necessary equipment to work with high-voltage batteries.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling of drivetrains
• Environmental treatment of cars
• Photographing and registering spare parts
• Co-responsibility for order and efficient operation in the workshop

You will receive thorough training in the Nemdele system, which we use to register spare parts.

Qualifications

We expect that you

• Have experience as a mechanic or sheet metal worker
• Have an interest in modern automotive technology
• Can work independently and in a structured way
• Are a good colleague who contributes to a good working environment
• Have ordinary IT skills
