Employee wanted to accompany a man to training in Faxe Ladeplads

Do you have experience working with people? Would you make a big difference for a man by accompanying him to training and riding?

About the task

The position involves supporting a happy and warm-hearted man aged 60. The man has cerebral palsy, uses a wheelchair, and is blind. He is very curious and enjoys music and board games.

The task is to accompany the man to training and riding. You travel together in his transportation arrangement, where you help with outerwear and accompany him to the training, including by driving his wheelchair. Here you wait while he trains and then accompany him home again.

About you

You have experience working with people with disabilities. You are calm, patient, and good at creating secure relationships.

Working hours

The position is 10 hours per week, at the following times

• Tuesday and Thursday: 9.30-13.00
• Friday: 10.00-13.00

You will become part of a family-owned company with many dedicated employees. You will have a fixed advisor whom you can always consult. Outside office hours there is always a staffed on-call phone, so you are never alone. Salary and pension in accordance with the National Agreement for handicapped assistance in the citizen's own home (minus BPA) entered into between FOA and Dansk Erhverv. You are covered by DUOS’ liability and workers' compensation insurance, and health insurance is part of your pension scheme.
