Staff wanted for renovation project at our hotels in Odense

We are seeking a employee for a large renovation project at our hotels in Odense, where a number of hotel rooms must be totally renovated.

The position is in principle time-limited to the renovation period itself , but for the right person there is the possibility of permanent employment afterwards.

About the job

You will become part of a team that will be responsible for the practical execution of the renovation of the hotel rooms.

The rooms must be renovated from end to end, and there will therefore be many different types of tasks along the way.

Your tasks may include

• Dismantling and preparing existing rooms
• Demolition and light disassembly
• Plastering and preparing walls
• Painting work
• Erection and installation of fixtures and furniture
• Assembly and placement of furniture
• Fitting lamps, curtains, pictures and other interior items where the work does not require authorization
• Minor repairs
• Mouldings, joints and the final finish
• Practical tasks related to the entire renovation process
• Ensuring that the rooms are delivered finished and ready for our guests

Of course we use authorized craftsmen for the tasks that require it. Your role will be to be able to solve as many of the remaining practical tasks as possible and help ensure progress in the project.

• Have a good hand for things
• Have experience with renovation or practical craftsmanship
• Can work independently
• Can work efficiently without compromising on quality
• Have an eye for detail and the final finish
• Are flexible and ready to pitch in where needed
• Can collaborate with colleagues and external craftsmen
• Have a driving license

Possibility for permanent employment

The position is initially tied to the concrete renovation project.

But we have ongoing renovation and maintenance projects at our hotels around Denmark. Therefore there will be opportunity for permanent employment after the project ends for the right person.

A permanent position would mean you must be prepared to work at different Milling hotels and in periods stay away overnight when we have larger projects elsewhere in the country.

If you enjoy a workday with different workplaces and projects, there may therefore be a possibility of a permanent job with us afterwards.
