About the job
Would you like to help shape and influence a new secretary function from the start?
Nær Sundhed is seeking a secretary to handle the administrative tasks around patient/citizen pathways.
Nær Sundhed is a new department at Lillebælt Hospital, which is under construction. The department will have authority and operational responsibility for Health and Care placements in Fredericia, Kolding, Middelfart, Vejle and Thyregod as well as a unified acute nursing service.
The secretary function shall support both patients and citizens on the new Health and Care placements as well as the Acute Nursing Service in connection with their visits to citizens in their own homes.
The function is new, and you will therefore play an important role in both daily operations and in developing and structuring workflows and administrative procedures from the start.
Your daily workplace will be Vejle Hospital and the working hours will, in principle, lie during normal daytime hours on weekdays.
About the position The tasks span both Health and Care placements and the Acute Nursing Service and will have somewhat different character:
- In the Acute Nursing Service, the tasks will resemble the administrative workflows known from an outpatient area. Here you will, among other things, work with booking, daily maintenance of calendars, planning and rollout.
- At the Health and Care Placements, the tasks will resemble more the administrative and registration workflows around an inpatient course, including registering admission and discharge as well as creation and maintenance of the course.
- In addition, you will work with correspondence, telephone inquiries and coordination across the hospital, municipality and general practice.
- An important part of the function is also quality assurance of registrations, including error lists, LPR reporting and correct procedure registration.
- The function is new, therefore you should also be keen to contribute to developing and shaping the administrative workflows and the secretary function from the start.
We are looking for you who
- Are trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator.
- Likely have experience from the hospital sector with knowledge of EHR (and possibly Cetrea). Knowledge of planner role/booking configuration (the booking part in EHR) would be an advantage.
- Work independently, structured and take responsibility for your tasks.
- Have an eye for quality, correct registration and coherence in patient and citizen pathways.
- Thrive with both planned and acute tasks.
- Have good collaboration and communication skills.
- Are curious, proactive and keen to help develop and shape a new secretary function.
- Would like to contribute to creating the framework for “Citizen first” and actively help ensure that Lillebælt Hospital is and continues to develop as The Patients’ Hospital with the hospital’s values and promises as a starting point.
We offer
- A new and versatile position where you have a great opportunity to influence content and workflows.
- A good working environment with a focus on collaboration, responsibility, integrity and humor, even though we are busy.
- Skilled and engaged colleagues who are ready with introduction, training and guidance.
You will become part of a new function with a central role in creating a well-functioning administrative foundation around both Health and Care placements and the Acute Nursing Service. The goal is smooth workflows, good data quality, correct registration and coherent citizen pathways across units.
This is a permanent position of 37 hours/week; if you want a lower number of hours, there is also an option for that.
Salary and terms Salary and terms for the position follow the Health Administrative Staff – Agreement 32.09.1. The starting salary for the position can be found via the following link: See starting salary for positions in Region Southern Denmark .
