We are strengthening the sickness benefit area to better support the intentions of the employment reform.

As a job advisor you will help citizens on sickness benefits, through a cross-disciplinary and coherent effort, return to their workplace or be available for the labor market.

We work according to the principle of early intervention and individually tailored courses, as well as sustainable solutions for citizens' return. We want to focus on even earlier and better contact with employers, and you must therefore be willing and able to hold conversations with multiple parties. In the conversations we focus on the individual's resources and plan an individual effort with job or education in mind.

With us, citizens have, as a starting point, one through-going caseworker, so they experience progression in their process.

The right candidate

• Has a social-professional education (social worker/social facilitator)
• Familiarity with the sickness benefit area and the employment field in general, as well as the disability compensating schemes
• Can provide professional and social-professional case management and is able to balance demanding requirements while also recognizing the citizen's experienced challenges. Able to work systematically, independently and is at the same time a pronounced team player
• Is capable of creating motivation for change in citizens, based on the citizen's resources and own perspective. We work according to the method of the resource-oriented approach.
• Has the courage and willingness to participate in a busy daily life, where the effort for citizens and thus also your task portfolio develops continuously while we solve the core task
• Has good communicative skills in conversations with citizens and is comfortable with the written part

You will be employed in the Department for Employment and Upskilling, which consists of 23 colleagues and you will be attached to the sickness benefit team, which consists of 10 job advisors, 1 business consultant and a professional coordinator.
