About us

The Substance Abuse Center Faaborg – Midtfyn Municipality is located in Faaborg with a corresponding satellite department in Ringe.

We have about 300 citizens in treatment – substance and alcohol treatment, children/young people and adults.

We have recently undergone a new reorganization of the Substance Center, where we have gained greater flexibility in task execution.

The staff group consists of 17 people: nurses, social educators, social workers, prevention workers, social facilitators, administrative staff and a doctor. We are organized into 2 teams as well as a healthcare professional team that is anchored in the two teams.

We want a culture characterized by a positive approach to and belief in citizens' potential for change. We want to create a learning community where everyone contributes on equal terms. You will help to create it.

  • You wish to develop yourself professionally as well as personally
  • You can work independently and facilitate both towards the citizen, the network, colleagues and partners
  • You contribute to the cross-disciplinary collaboration around the citizen's individual action plan, where you actively contribute with your own professional angles and competencies while being curious about others
  • You master the medication module in Nexus
  • You can handle all tasks regarding medication
  • You contribute to a good working environment and have an appreciative approach to both citizens and colleagues.

We offer

  • A workday with varied and complex clinical nursing tasks

  • A collegial community where we help and support each other when the work becomes difficult

  • A workplace where there is room for different approaches and openness to new ideas and initiatives.
