About the job

Do you want to work with outpatient psychiatric treatment, where independent responsibility and multidisciplinary collaboration go hand in hand?

We are seeking an authorized nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist with at least two years of relevant psychiatric experience for our F-ACT team. With us you will have the opportunity to apply your professional skills in a varied daily life with patient contact, independent treatment work and multidisciplinary collaboration.

About the position

The F-ACT team primarily provides treatment for people with disorders within the schizophrenia spectrum. The treatment is tailored to the individual patient's needs and may, at times, include more frequent contact, home visits and a more proactive outreach effort. The team also supports the general area when a patient pathway requires more intensive treatment than can be offered within the general area’s framework.

You manage your own patient pathways in cooperation with the patient and the responsible treating physician. At the same time, the team has joint responsibility for the overall patient group. We therefore continuously prioritize the effort according to the patients' current treatment needs, and you contribute across pathways when necessary.

Your tasks include, among others

  • supportive and therapeutic conversations and psychoeducation
  • assessment of mental state and somatic follow-up
  • administration of depot medication depending on your professional group and your competences
  • prevention of relapse and hospitalizations
  • collaboration with relatives and coordination with the municipality, general practitioner, housing facilities and inpatient wards
  • documentation and follow-up on the treatment.

We work recovery-oriented with a basis in the patient's wishes, resources and goals. The work takes place both in the clinic and in the patients' homes and local surroundings.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a psychiatric department, local psychiatry or a comparable psychiatric service
  • can establish and maintain professional treatment relationships
  • works independently and in a structured way and can prioritize according to patients' needs
  • contributes actively to multidisciplinary collaboration and involves other professional backgrounds when relevant
  • has an eye for the connection between mental, somatic and social conditions
  • documents precisely and takes responsibility for your professional development.

A driver's license is a requirement, and it may be necessary to make your own car available , as the position includes home visits and outreach work.

You will become part of an interdisciplinary environment where your professional expertise is part of the overall treatment effort.

We offer

  • a structured introduction program and a mentorship scheme
  • regular supervision, professional sparring and multidisciplinary conferences with case discussion
  • opportunities for professional development and competence development
  • an treatment environment where we, among other things, use cognitive and compassion-focused approaches.
