Nurse sought for maternity leave cover – Dual Diagnosis Ward 05, Psychiatric Department Vejle

We are seeking a nurse for a maternity leave cover with start 1 December or as soon as possible .

The position is 37 hours weekly in day and night shifts.

In Dual-diagnosis Ward 05 we work purposefully with individualized patient pathways for people with both psychiatric and substance-related issues. It is a ward where what you say and do has direct significance – both for the patient and for the good working environment we nurture every day. What you will be working with

You will join a multidisciplinary team where the tasks span a wide range

• Supportive conversations and close patient involvement
• Medication distribution and intensive work with tapering/withdrawal
• Development of nursing and treatment plans
• Environmental-therapeutic and pedagogical activities
• Holistic nursing with focus on both the psychiatric and the somatic
• Close collaboration with relatives and external partners

The work can be fast-paced and emotionally demanding, but we deliberately ensure that resources match the demands – through hands-on leadership, supervision and a strong collegial solidarity.

Dual-diagnosis Ward 05 is part of the Psychiatric Department Vejle – a ward with 15 beds in a modern department that includes facilities for physical activity, sensory stimulation and integration of nature.

Salary and terms of employment

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
