About the job
Nurse sought for the Cardiac Medicine Project Department
- Cardiac Medicine Department, Esbjerg Hospital, Grindsted Hospital
Are you passionate about making a real difference in cardiac medicine? Do you want to be part of a dedicated team where your competences count, and where you have opportunities for professional development and responsibility? Then this may be the dream job for you!
We are looking for a structured, service-minded and positive nurse who values strong collaboration and thrives in a small, tightly knit department and also in a larger colleague group in our cardiac medical ward. In the project department you will be an important part of a team consisting of six project nurses and a secretary, where cooperation, communication and mutual support are the foundation of our success.
About the job
You will become a central figure in our exciting projects, which are primarily within the pharmaceutical industry. If you have experience with cardiology, that is a big advantage – but most importantly is your interest in project work and the desire to make a difference.
Your tasks will include, among others
- Patient contact: conversations, screening and recruitment of new participants for our projects
- Sampling: blood tests, handling and dispatch of samples
- Examinations: measuring vital signs, ECG and handling of questionnaires
- Data handling: data entry in systems, administrative tasks and research-related work
- Weekend shift every fourth weekend in our cardiac medical ward (E2)
Who are you?
You are service-minded and good at quickly building trustful relationships with patients who participate in research with new cardiac medication. Your work is independent, varied and gives you great freedom with responsibility. You thrive in a busy everyday life where you can juggle multiple tasks at once and switch smoothly between them.
We offer
- A diverse and challenging everyday life in a professionally strong environment
- Opportunity to participate in meetings and conferences both nationally and internationally
- Working hours: 37 hours per week, primarily in the period 07:00-16:00 and weekend shifts can be all three shifts depending on agreement.
- A workplace with a strong focus on collaboration and personal development
- Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement
- Introduction and training in the ward according to the level of competence.
Management and organization
For the projects, doctors are attached who have the daily medical responsibility while Chief Nurse Pia Dahl has the daily personnel management.
The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be told basic salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in DSR. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
