A kindergarten house with high professional ambitions is seeking a new leader as of February 1, 2027.

Who are we?

Gnisten is a kindergarten house for children aged 0-6 years and one of eight kindergartens in Grønnemose Area Institution in Gladsaxe Municipality.

You will lead a house with engaged and professionally strong staff and about 70 wonderful children.

In Gnisten we work with childrens participation as a fundamental basis for our pedagogical practice. This is reflected in our learning environments, relationships and the organization of everyday life. It is a practice we have developed over several years in collaboration, and which we continue to be curious to qualify further.

We are a house with a strong professional and collegial community, and it is important to us that our forthcoming leader is keen to engage in the house and invest themselves in the community. At the same time, we want a leader who, with professional curiosity, can contribute with new perspectives, ask questions about our practice and inspire us to continue development.

In Gnisten we create space for play, deepening, curiosity, great laughter and strong relationships. This applies to both children and adults.

Part of a strong leadership community

The Gnisten kindergarten is part of Grønnemose Area Institution, which consists of eight kindergartens. You report to the area manager and become part of an engaged, ambitious and committed leadership community where sparring, shared responsibility and professional development are highly valued. As a leader you are not alone. You can expect close professional sparring, clear expectations and an area manager who supports your leadership practice through dialogue, feedback and reflection.

Your leadership task

As a kindergarten house leader you report to the area manager and have the overall responsibility for the pedagogical, personnel, financial and organizational leadership of the house.

We want a leader who leads with trust, presence, clarity and professionalism. A leader who is visible in daily practice, creates direction and following, and supports staff wellbeing, development and professional reflection.

• have strong pedagogical insight and can lead through professionalism
• have experience facilitating development processes that strengthen the quality of practice
• are curious and investigative in your approach to leadership
• are clear and decisive and able to create followership
• work systematically with the working environment, relationships and collaboration
• have a leadership education or other relevant further education - or a desire to pursue it
