Economic Development and Process Consultant for Air Greenland

Do you want to use your financial expertise to develop processes and work with data, digitalization and new system solutions at Air Greenland?

The position is newly created and targets you with a financial background who wants to work with development, data, digitalization and optimization of processes. You will have an important role in developing and improving financial workflows and the systems that support them.

Air Greenland is in an exciting development with increased digitalization, new business areas and several cross-functional initiatives. This places new demands on our financial processes, systems and the way we work with and use data.

You will have a broad contact surface and will work closely with colleagues across Air Greenland including IT and external suppliers.

Your main responsibilities

·Participate in and coordinate development, upgrade and implementation projects in the finance function

·Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and digitalization

·Work with data and help develop more efficient and automated processes

·Help drive new processes from needs and development to testing, implementation and operation

·Support the development of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and other financial systems

·Contribute to the development and automation of settlement processes

·Identify needs and participate in the selection of external suppliers who can contribute to optimization and automation

·Prepare process descriptions, test plans and documentation

·Support controlling, analysis and reporting tasks

·Collaborate with colleagues, subsidiaries and external suppliers on developing effective solutions

We imagine that you

·Have a relevant education in economics, finance, auditing or business administration

·Have experience with financial processes, controlling or business development

·Have a good understanding of accounting, bookkeeping and financial contexts

·Have an interest in data, systems and digital solutions

·Preferably have experience with ERP systems – for example Dynamics 365

·Are curious about how workflows can be optimized and automated

·Can translate needs from the finance function into concrete solutions in collaboration with IT and external suppliers

· Thrive in the collaboration between finance, business and IT

·Master Danish and English in writing and speech

·You do not need to be an IT specialist. The most important thing is that you have financial understanding, an interest in systems and a desire to work with development and digitization.
