Øster Åby Friskole seeks a teaching assistant for a permanent position with start 1 January 2027

The majority of the working hours are spent on supporting a girl in 3rd grade during school time, and afterwards there will be hours in our SFO.

The girl is active, engaged, cooperative and participative, and is well integrated.

She needs practical support in both teaching and recess.

The task is well described with recommendations from PPR.

We are looking for the person who, with a good smile, can see the joy in being with a girl from 3rd grade and find the balance between helping and challenging. Someone who can find the balance in “being there”, but also stepping back, and who in the afternoon joins a strong team around our SFO, and finds joy in being with the children.

We are a Grundtvig/Koldsk Friskole with 220 children in the friskole, 85 children in SFO and 40 children in kindergarten.

We are located just outside Svendborg in a favorable area between river valleys, forest and water. We have plenty of space and good facilities both outdoors and indoors. We enjoy strong parental support and an active board.
