About the Full-day Classes

The Full-day Classes are the Municipality of Middelfart's offering to generally gifted children with socio-emotional difficulties. Students need a special education learning environment where structure, relationships and clear adult support are crucial for their well-being and learning. For pupils in the early grades there is after-school care (SFO).

We work purposefully with

  • to support both academic development as well as personal and social well-being.

We are also in the process of developing a shared pedagogical foundation, where Middelfart Municipality's view of children forms the basis for our practice. Active opportunities for participation for all, mentalization, low arousal and co-teaching are keywords in our work.

  • an extended school-home collaboration is a valuable part of the work.

We offer

  • a developing workplace with high pedagogical ambitions
  • a close and well-functioning collaboration between teachers and educators
  • a school in development with a focus on shared direction and pedagogical quality
  • opportunity for personal and professional development in a strong work community
  • an engaged staff with a focus on well-being and learning.
