NTG Air & Ocean is part of NTG Nordic Transport Group A/S and delivers tailored solutions within air freight, sea freight, Courier, projects and the North Atlantic. As part of a global transport group with activities in more than 26 countries and 88 companies, we are constantly developing, and now we are seeking a new colleague for our Operational Finance team.

About what you will be part of

At NTG Air & Ocean you will become part of a team that plays an important role in the daily operation of the business. You will work closely with both operational departments, customers and colleagues across the organization and you will have a central role in ensuring that our financial processes run efficiently and professionally.

You will be based at our headquarters in Hvidovre together with about 140 colleagues, where collaboration is close, the tone informal, and decision-making paths short. Here there is room for both professional development, responsibility and good ideas, and we help each other when the pace picks up.

Your main duties

• Daily invoicing and bookkeeping
• Accounts receivable management in close collaboration with our operational teams
• Dialogue with customers regarding follow-up on outstanding payments
• Month-end closing and reporting
• Follow-up on payments of claims cases from suppliers
• Sparring with colleagues and departments across the organization
• Participation in the development and implementation of internal controls
• Optimization of processes and workflows

We imagine that you have an accounting background or experience from a similar role, where you have built up a solid understanding of financial processes and the value they create for the business.

You work independently and in a structured way and thrive in a role where many things are moving at once. An overview comes naturally to you, and you are used to prioritizing so deadlines are met – even when the pace is high.

At the same time you are helpful and service-minded and are motivated by creating calm and flow for those you work with.

You have a good overview and can stay calm even when several tasks land on your desk at the same time. You are not afraid to reach out to colleagues or customers, and you thrive in a role where collaboration and relationships are an important part of everyday life.

Experience with Navision, Business Central or another ERP system is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You communicate fluently in both Danish and English, in writing as well as orally.
