Operations shift in the Control Center

As an operations shift in the Control Center you will be a central part of monitoring the electricity grid that supplies 800,000 homes and businesses. You work closely with colleagues to ensure stable supplies and handle operating situations. The role is for you who want to develop professionally and help find new ways to solve the tasks. Here you get a everyday where you make a concrete difference for the customers.

Become a key player in the monitoring of the power grid

In the role as an operations shift you work in the Control Center, which is the hub for control and monitoring of the power grid. You will receive thorough training and become part of a team where tasks are solved collectively. You contribute to daily operations, handling deviations and development of new working methods. You collaborate with other departments and specialist groups to ensure that the grid is ready for future needs.

Your primary tasks

• Perform switching operations during planned work
• Monitor the power grid and respond to deviations and operational disturbances
• Contribute to optimal utilization of the grid's capacity
• Participate in training and exercises in extraordinary situations

You will also take part in tasks that support cross-organizational collaboration and contribute to the ongoing development of the control center's workflows.

The work primarily takes place during daytime hours, but there are also evening, night and weekend shifts.

We are looking for a colleague with technical insight and a strong operations focus

You have an electrical-technical background and thrive in a role where you must maintain an overview in operating situations. You are motivated to learn and can make clear decisions when required. You work structured and contribute positively to teamwork.

We would like you to

• Have an electrical-technical education as an electrician, marine engineer, or electrical power engineer
• Have experience from the electricity sector or are a recent graduate eager to learn
• Can make decisions in complex operational situations
• Work independently and responsibly
• Contribute actively to professional sparring and collaboration

It is a prerequisite for employment that you can obtain security clearance and maintain the clearance throughout the employment.
