Are you a star at communicating and creating extraordinary experiences for our guests, then perhaps you are the one we are looking for to join our team of presenters in the Planetarium.

As a presenter you are the focal point of the guests' experiences. Together with the rest of the team you will add that extra sparkle to guests' experiences when they visit our exhibitions, workshops and Planetarium Dome, or when we have school classes visiting for guided tours or educational programs.

Our goal is to inspire and enrich our guests with new insights about themselves as people, life on Earth, and the infinite dimensions of space through vivid stories about astronomy and spaceflight.

Responsibilities as a presenter

• Communicate astronomy and space travel through different presentation formats to the Planetarium's guests. This can range from vibrant science shows in the exhibitions to lectures in the Planetarium Dome and dialog-building hands-on activities in SpaceLab.
• Present astronomy and space travel through concepts aimed at companies and associations.
• Present to and instruct school classes in the Planetarium Dome as well as conduct both short and longer educational programs in our exhibitions and SpaceLab.
• Help with ad hoc tasks related to presentation in the Planetarium.

About you

• You are a student enrolled in a higher education program in natural sciences. Either at university or teacher training.
• You are motivated and driven by good storytelling, and you want to convey your knowledge to diverse audiences, e.g., families, schoolchildren, and companies.
• You have flair for conveying difficult-to-access material.
• You are curious, enthusiastic and outgoing.
• You are flexible, as working hours vary across day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. We expect that you can work on average 7-14 hours per week.
