Senior foreman sought for a plumbing company in Greve

Are you an experienced VVS-Montør with overview, leadership skills and desire to take responsibility for both employees and tasks?

Workforce Denmark is searching on behalf of an established VVS company for a lead foreman in a central role in daily operations.

We are looking for you who have min. 5–7 years of experience from the plumbing industry. You thrive with staff management and can ensure that both employees, customers and tasks are followed through.

Work location: Håndværkerbyen, Greve.

About the position

As lead foreman you will share responsibility for your own team, where you ensure daily planning, coordination and follow-up etc.

You will also be an important sparring partner and right-hand for the company’s daily managers, with whom you will have close collaboration.

The position is a combination of personnel management, technical coordination and practical planning.

The position is estimated with a starting point of about 75% of your working time in the office and 25% out on construction sites and with customers – you must therefore be keen on both parts.

The company works with both project work, regular commercial customers and smaller service and private customer tasks.

Your primary tasks

• Take care of the daily management and coordination of your own team of VVS-montører.
• Ensure an efficient task distribution and optimal use of employees' time and resources.
• Plan, coordinate and follow up on project, service and private customer tasks.
• Ensure progress, quality and compliance with entered agreements and schedules.
• Be the daily link between the office, the fitters and the construction sites.
• Ensure timely ordering and coordination of materials for the individual tasks.
• Actively contribute to optimizing workflows, planning and daily operations.
• Function as the company’s daily leader’s right-hand and help create overview, structure and relief in everyday life.

We imagine that you

• Are trained as a VVS-montør or have a corresponding relevant VVS-professional background.
• Have a minimum of 5–7 years of practical experience from the VVS industry.
• Have experience with or interest in taking the next step towards a leadership role.
• Have solid experience with both project tasks and ordinary VVS service tasks.
• Have broad technical understanding and preferably knowledge of heat pumps and heating management.
• Have a good business understanding and eye for the economics of the individual tasks.
• Are familiar with IT and easily adapt to administrative systems.
• Have a professional approach to customers and partners.
• Have a driving license (category B).

You do not necessarily need to have held the title of lead foreman previously. The most important is that you have the professional experience, leadership skills and the desire to take responsibility.
