At Botilbud Elbæk we seek a professionally strong pedagogue, who does not settle for asking “hvad gør vi?” , but also is concerned with “hvorfor gør vi det – og hvilken forskel gør det for borgeren?”

We are facing an exciting professional development at Elbæk, where we will be trained in LA2u and together translate the method into our daily pedagogical practice. Common to our work is that the effort is based on the individual person. We work with KRAP, neuro-pedagogy and Ethical dilemma management, and we also stand before being trained in LA2u, which will help strengthen and develop our common pedagogical practice.

A bit about Elbæk

Botilbud Elbæk is a modern and lively 24/7 facility in Hadsten with room for 39 adult citizens. Our citizens have reduced mental and physical functional abilities to varying degrees, and therefore both support needs and pedagogical tasks differ.

Some citizens are relatively self-reliant in daily life, while others require extensive support for both practical and personal tasks. Personal care and transfers are therefore also part of the work at Elbæk.

At Elbæk we work across professions. You will become colleagues with among others pedagogues, social- and health care assistants, occupational therapists, social workers, psychomotor therapists and care assistants. We work across the house and actively use each other’s different professionalities in sparring around the citizens.

Your professional profile

We are looking for a pedagogue who wants to use his/her professionalism – also when the task is complex, and the answer is not obvious.

• Are professionally curious and investigative, have a view of the person behind the behavior and can translate observations and reflections into concrete pedagogical practice
• Dare to bring your professionalism into play, can justify your pedagogical choices and contribute constructively to reflection on both own and joint practice
• Work systematically with goals, sub-goals, documentation and evaluation
• Can think creatively and adjust the pedagogical approach when the existing effort does not create the desired effect for the citizen
• See interdisciplinary collaboration and involvement of relatives as a strength and communicate clearly, professionally and respectfully
• Are keen on professional development and to actively participate in our upcoming work with LA2u.

You do not need to know it all in advance. The most important is that you have a strong professional foundation, are curious about your own practice and want to develop yourself with us.

Salary and terms of employment

We are a 24/7 facility and therefore there will be work every other weekend. Working hours cover all days of the week in day and evening shifts from 6.45-22.15.

Christmas, New Year, public holidays as well as summer holidays are planned separately.

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final permanent employment occurs after negotiation with the bargaining representative trade union based on qualifications.

It is a prerequisite for employment that you at all times can show a valid driving license.
