We are looking for a trained educator/educational assistant from 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible for our nursery group with 12 lovely children. The team also includes 2 educators and an educational assistant.

Hadbjerg ChildrenHouse is located in a picturesque area in the village of Hadbjerg about 4 km from Hadsten town. We have beautiful nature right outside the door and actively use nature in everyday life. We are often on trips, and we believe that the world beyond the doors of the childrenhouse is a fantastic learning environment. We are also a Green Sprout institution, so nature and outdoor life are a natural part of our pedagogical work.

We are a smaller childrenhouse with engaged staff and parents. We have two nursery groups with 12 children each and two kindergarten groups. We are one of the nurseries where consciously particular structure and organization go hand in hand with high pedagogical professionalism wrapped in beautiful nature as well as the local environment.

Professionalism is not just something we say. We have a conscious ongoing focus on pedagogical professionalism, and it naturally leaves its mark in our organization and pedagogical starting point.

• Ongoing internal professional presentations at p-møder
• Weekly plans with a consciously varied pedagogical content, and the opportunity to get sparring on your pedagogical work.
• Work in small fixed groups each morning, where there is time and space for each child.
• Focus on inclusive learning environments, which we consciously develop continuously

• A culture where we are curious about our practice and enjoy a professional dialogue.
• Good quality measurements for several years in both kindergarten and nursery

We want you to get off to a good start

When you start with us, you are not alone. You will be assigned a mentor from day one, who helps you settle in, get to know the house and become familiar with our practice. In the first period you will have a weekly mentor conversation, where you continuously learn our systems, but where big and small things can also be discussed with a mentor who is always an experienced coworker.

We also prioritize professional reflection and work, among other things, with pedagogical analysis via the LP model, as well as scheduled time for preparation and reflection.

For us, a sense of mastery, well-being and professionalism go hand in hand.

We are looking for you who

• Are a trained educator or educational assistant - assistant teachers are not considered.
• Preferably have experience from nursery — though not a requirement
• Are passionate about pedagogy and professional development
• Are flexible and readily help out in case of sickness.
• Have humor and contribute positively to our community and job satisfaction
• Can work independently but also fit into the community
• Are relationally competent toward adults and children
• Are motivated to learn and develop yourself
• Are playful and actively participate in the childrens play

Practical information

The position is 30-37 hours. We want to accommodate your wishes.

We conduct ongoing interviews and fill the position when the right candidate is found, but no later than 20 November 2026.

Employment is pursuant to agreement with FOA and BUPL.

When employed, references, criminal record and child safeguarding clearance will be obtained.
