Can you get children to sing louder, wonder more and laugh more often? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for.

In Hadsten Childcare, we are looking for an educator who is passionate about presence, relationships and children's curiosity. With us, a ladybug can create the day's most important conversation, a puddle can develop into a science project, and a song can bring a whole community together.

We are a dedicated Music and Science House, where we explore the world with the children every day. We sing, experiment, investigate, move and wonder. Not because we have to have all the answers, but because we love exploring together.

Who are we?

Hadsten Childcare is a small, independent gem with room for 50 children. Our everyday life unfolds in a beautiful, three-story patrician villa in the eastern part of Hadsten, where homely surroundings, presence and community go hand in hand with high professional standards.

Although our rooms are spread over two floors, we work as one house. Children and adults meet across in everyday life, and the community extends far beyond the individual rooms. We help each other, inspire each other and create together a safe and coherent everyday life for all children.

Outside awaits our almost brand-new playground, which has quickly become a natural gathering point for play, movement and adventure. Surrounded by tall trees and lush plantings, it provides space for both wild runs, exploratory science projects, imaginative role-plays and quiet moments in nature's presence.

Professionalism is our foundation, but the children's perspectives are our compass. We work structurally with themes that support the strengthened pedagogical learning plan, and we priority wellbeing, inclusion and strong communities in everything we do.

Practical information

• Employment from 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter
• Up to 37 hours per week
• Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis
• Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement
