Educator for Børnehuset Ellemose

Are you passionate about quality, development and the everyday life of the youngest children?

Pedagogue sought for the nursery (vuggestue) in Børnehuset Ellemose. From January 1, 2027 at 37 hours per week or by agreement

Are you a pedagogue who gets energy from developing practice, creating strong learning environments and being an active part of change processes? Do you see quality as something we create together every day through reflection, curiosity and action? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for in our nursery.

At Børnehuset Ellemose we work purposefully to create high quality for the children. Therefore we are looking for a professionally strong and curious pedagogue who wants to develop practice, contribute ideas and translate ambitions into meaningful actions for the children.

You must love nursery life with all it entails of presence, relations, play, care and development. At the same time you must be able to see the value in the shared professional work, where we together investigate, adjust and develop our practice so that the children meet the best conditions for well-being, learning, development and formation.

We are looking for a pedagogue who

• Is passionate about working with the 0-3-year-olds.
• Finds motivation in development and change processes and can follow them through to the end.
• Is focused on quality in the pedagogical practice.
• Works reflexively and contributes with professional perspectives.
• Sees collaboration as a strength and takes shared responsibility for the community.
• Can gain support and engage in direct dialogue.
• Meets children, parents and colleagues with openness, recognition and positivity.
• Is flexible, robust and reliable in attendance.

With us you get

• Opportunity to shape and develop practice.
• A workplace with high ambitions on behalf of the children.
• A strong professional community with room for reflection, curiosity and different perspectives.
• A diverse staff group with colleagues across age, gender, experience and professional perspectives.
• A diverse group of children with different nationalities and linguistic backgrounds.
• One hour of preparation time each week that you plan yourself, plus a mentoring scheme.

You must be able to work within our opening hours, which are Monday to Thursday from 6.30 am to 5.00 pm and Friday from 6.30 am to 4.00 pm. We have free parking right at the door.

Who are we?

Børnehuset Ellemose is a diverse nursery centrally located in Hadsten, with short distance to forests, nature and exciting excursion opportunities. We have a large and inviting playground with space for active play, motor challenges and immersion in small oases.

Here, diversity is a strength. Children, families and staff contribute every day to an inclusive community where there is room to be oneself. We work purposefully with quality in our pedagogical practice and create play, learning, well-being and development throughout the day - both indoors and outdoors. Language, nature and music are natural and valuable parts of our everyday life.
