Educator for Southeast Daycare - Romalt Children's House

Dagtilbud Sydøst is seeking educators at Børnehuset Romalt (37 hours)

We expect that you

• can apply theoretical and research-based knowledge in their core task - to create well-being, learning and development for the children.
• can translate knowledge into practice, - including reflecting and communicating with professionals and parents.
• have the ability to establish diverse learning environments within language development, motor skills, cultural dissemination, creativity and the natural science area.
• can plan the pedagogical work and ensure that it is carried out with a certain level of systematicity and purpose.
• are responsible for ensuring that pedagogical activities and processes are planned and carried out in accordance with the law.
• at the same time must be able to collaborate with and instruct, guide and inspire pedagogical assistants and students in pedagogical work, ethics and norms
• can work in collegial teams and have knowledge of teambuilding techniques and group dynamics.
• are particularly interested in and have knowledge about nature as a residence and learning environment
• are able to work independently and take the lead in the pedagogical work.

The work is for children aged 3-6 years.

Børnehuset Romalt is located close to nature/forest, town and cultural offerings in Romalt. We are a combined kindergarten housed across 2 sites with a total of 54 nursery places and 125 kindergarten places.

We want to strengthen the department's profile towards more inclusion and interaction with the nature surrounding us. Therefore we are seeking a person who wants to be a co-creator of a fantastic child environment and child life, where outdoor life has priority and where extended collaboration across sites can be seen as a resource.

You will be known for a keen eye for high quality in the core task. We nurture a healthy workplace community and collaboration across nursery and kindergarten and are committed to a good and healthy childhood in a safe and caring environment. The house hums with a good and energetic atmosphere with happy children and adults.
