About the job
Are you eager to become part of Aabenraa Municipality's largest primary school, where leisure pedagogy, relationship work and strong communities are in focus – and where you as a pedagogue have the opportunity to work in the after-school program in an engaged and well-functioning team? Then you might be exactly the person we are looking for.
We are looking for a trained pedagogue for 30 hours in a permanent position with employment from 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
About the workplace
You will become part of Aabenraa Municipality's largest primary school with 720 students and 120 staff. We are a workplace with many different professional groups, who together work to give children a everyday life with both formation, teaching and well-being.
The primary division has 290 students spread over three tracks per year group from 0th–3rd grade. Our after-school program has a daily leisure offer for children from 0th–3rd grade as well as a daily SFO2-offer for children from 4th–6th grade.
About the job
The position is organizationally placed in the lower school, and you will become part of our well-functioning after-school program team, where leisure pedagogy is the focal point.
At Kongehøjskolen we view the after-school program as an important educational offering – not only as a leisure activity, but also as part of the school's overall daily life, where the after-school program is an equal educational partner. Our after-school program is, to a large extent, the place where the school meets the parents in daily life, when the youngest children are dropped off and picked up. It is the children’s well-being, learning and formation that is our focus.
We offer you
- a well-functioning team where we value job satisfaction and humor highly, and where there is opportunity to influence.
- external supervision with the after-school program team.
- daily collaboration meetings with after-school program colleagues.
- time for preparation.
- collaboration across professional disciplines.
- strong professional communities.
- a dynamic organization with many possibilities.
- a school with a clear direction and a practice where employees are involved.
About you
We expect that you
- are a trained pedagogue
- with engagement, professionalism and pedagogical drive will join our school – primarily in our after-school program team, where we value job satisfaction and humor highly
- can see yourself in a work area that spans broadly – both in relation to the children who use our after-school program and the tasks that may also lie in the school part
- have a professional and appreciative approach to your pedagogical work with a focus on relationship and care work, where the starting point is that the child does the best it can
- have competencies within, for example, the creative field or active leisure pedagogy with movement, outdoor life and play as the focal point
- can maintain overview and structure while collaborating on many diverse tasks
