Educator for Simmerbølle Kindergarten

We are seeking a dedicated and curious kindergarten teacher for 37 hours, who wants to become part of our community in Simmerbølle Kindergarten – part of the Daycare Area Midt in Langeland Municipality.

A kindergarten with high ceilings – inside and out

Simmerbølle Kindergarten is located in the cozy village of Simmerbølle, just 2.5 km north of Rudkøbing.

We operate in a former village school with room for 60 children. Here we have wonderful physical surroundings, our own gym hall, lovely outdoor areas and not least goats and chickens, which are part of the children’s daily life.

We believe that children develop best in safe and inspiring communities where there is room to be different, explore the world, play and learn.

With us, nature is not just something we visit. It is part of our pedagogical everyday life.

We work with a narrative and appreciative approach, where we are curious about the children’s perspectives, resources and possibilities. We use among other things Hjernen & Hjertet and KIDS as tools in our work with pedagogical quality.

We are not looking for a teacher who can do it all – but someone who wants to make a difference!

Salary and employment

The position is a permanent full-time appointment with a weekly working time of 37 hours.

Start as soon as possible – but no later than 1 January 2027.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the current collective agreement and the principles of local salary setting.

Salary is determined after individual negotiation, with the expected starting point in Collective Agreement for pedagogues in day care institutions, after-school programs, clubs etc.

The starting salary is expected to be between DKK 34,400-39,300 per month (excluding pension), depending on experience/seniority.

In addition there will be the possibility of negotiating individual allowances based on relevant competencies.

Note: Employment is conditional on satisfactory criminal record and child protection checks.
