About the job

Do you want to help support citizens in an independent and meaningful life?

Then this job might be for you.

We are looking for a trained pedagogue (pædagog) or occupational therapist and a trained social and health care assistant who want to work in a recovery-oriented manner in a § 85 tilbud under the Center for Psychiatry and Homeless People in Randers Municipality.

About the position

Permanent position of 37 hours per week – with the possibility of 34 hours if you wish.

Primarily day shifts with a smaller number of evening shifts per month.

Every 6th weekend is worked.

Working hours

08:00-16:00 (day shift)

13:00-21:00 (evening shift)

You will be based at the support centers Infanterivej and Solsortvej, but cover all three support centers (Infanterivej, Solsortvej and Nørrebrogade) during evening and weekend shifts.

The citizens live in their own apartments, and there are a total of 40 places distributed across the three centers.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team where we work with contact person roles in teams of at least two people.

Our approach

We work from a recovery-supportive and rehabilitative approach. This means that we meet the citizens as experts in their own lives and collaborate with them to use and develop their resources so they can live as independently as possible.

We work systematically and purposefully with the citizens’ § 141 action plans and prioritize a high degree of citizen involvement in everything we do.

As part of our professional practice we also use mentalization-based perspectives and methods. This means, among other things, that we are curious about what may lie behind the citizen’s behavior, feelings and reactions, and that we work consciously with the relationship as a central tool in the pedagogical and rehabilitative effort.

We strive to maintain an open and exploratory mindset – even when situations become complex. We try to understand rather than conclude and focus on how our own approach and behavior affect the interaction with the citizen.

We offer

  • Colleagues known for professionalism, humor, energy and engagement.
  • An workplace with a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration – both internally and with partners.
  • Influence and freedom under responsibility in a workplace in development.
  • Opportunity to contribute to training of students and learners.
  • External supervision.
  • Continuous implementation of new knowledge, methods and professional approaches.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Has a relevant education (pedagogue or occupational therapist and social and health care assistant).
  • Has knowledge of and interest in a recovery-oriented approach.
  • Works with a resource-focused mindset and sees opportunities together with the citizen.
  • Has good collaboration skills and a curious approach to other professions.
  • Can balance between citizen contact, practical tasks, action plans and collaboration with relatives and partners.
  • Can work independently, but also actively contribute to the team.
  • Is aware of their own boundaries and contributes to a good and safe working environment.

Practical

  • Application deadline: 18 November 2026
  • Hiring interviews: Expected to be held on 25 November 2026.
  • Start: As soon as possible and no later than 1 January 2027.
