Educational consultant for the Center for Psychology and Pedagogy

Would you like to help develop strong and inclusive communities in the schools of Vesthimmerland Municipality? We are looking for an educational consultant who, based on solid school experience and strong pedagogical and didactic competences, can support the development of the schools' practice.

The job As an educational consultant in the Center for Psychology and Education (CPP), you will collaborate with school staff and leadership to develop learning environments where more children have the opportunity to participate, learn and thrive. A central part of the work is to support staff's pedagogical and didactic competences through practice-oriented advice, guidance and professional development.

Your main tasks

• Advice and guidance to teachers, pedagogues and leaders on inclusive learning environments and children’s participation opportunities. A large part of the work also concerns supporting the schools’ middle-form classes.
• Support for staff's didactic practice, including differentiation of instruction, classroom management and planning of teaching.
• Planning and implementation of workshops, supervision and competence development programs.
• Participation in the development and implementation of middle forms in close collaboration with the schools’ staff and other professional groups in CPP.
• Practice-oriented observation, sparring and guidance with a focus on translating knowledge into concrete changes in everyday life.

Din profil We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained teacher with several years of practical experience from the school world and has pursued further studies at master’s level within the pedagogical and/or didactic field.
• Preferably has experience as a mentor, resource person or educational consultant, where you have supported the development of other professionals.
• Has strong pedagogical and didactic competences and can translate theory and experience into practice.
• Has an eye for both the individual child’s needs and the community’s importance for learning, development and well-being.
• Is skilled at building relationships and engaging in constructive collaborations with staff and leaders.
• Works independently and in a structured way, but also thrives in an interdisciplinary team.

Om os CPP consists of psychologists, speech therapists and pedagogical consultants who work to support the development, learning and well-being of children and young people.

We are a department with high professionalism, a strong collegial community and an informal tone. We place emphasis on professional sparring, flexibility and opportunities to develop in the job.

You will be part of a team consisting of four other pedagogical consultants, where we work closely together and help each other with the tasks.

Løn- og ansættelsesvilkår The position is full-time with start date February 1, 2027. Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement. Positive references and clean criminal and child abuse background checks are required. These will be obtained for the chosen candidate prior to employment.

Yderligere oplysninger CPP is physically located in the administration in Aalestrup and Løgstør, where your office will be in Aalestrup at the address Aagade 25D, 9620 Aalestrup. The job involves a fair amount of driving, so a valid driver’s license and own car are necessary.
