About the job

Are you interested in a job where relationships, presence and care are a central part of everyday life?

We are seeking pedagogical staff for a residential facility for adults with mental and physical disabilities. The residents are between 18 and 91 years old and have different needs. The target group includes, among others, people with multiple disabilities and autism.

We are in the process of expanding and are therefore seeking more staff for our team. The expansion is intended, among other things, to ensure that we can meet residents' individual needs for 1:1 time, where the staff member can be close to the individual resident and devote themselves to their needs, development and well-being.

This means that in the future there will be more staff at work, so there is a better opportunity for presence, immersion and individually tailored support. We want to create a day-to-day life where there is time and calm to look at the individual resident and be present in the situations where it is needed.

With us you become an important part of the residents' daily life. You help create structure, security and quality of life and support the individual based on their individual needs.

Your tasks

  • Pedagogical support and relationship work
  • Personal care and nursing
  • Support for daily activities and tasks
  • Creating structure, recognizability and predictability
  • Collaboration with colleagues on residents' well-being and development
  • Practical tasks that naturally accompany work in a residential facility

We are looking for someone who

  • Wants to work closely with people with different support needs
  • Meets residents with respect, calm and presence
  • Is comfortable with personal care being a natural part of the job
  • Can work independently while contributing positively to the community
  • Is stable, responsible and good at building relationships
  • You do not need to have experience in the field. The most important is that you want the job, are curious and have the right approach to people. We ensure you receive thorough training.

A good start is important

We know that it takes time to get to know residents, colleagues and workflows. Therefore we prioritize a thorough introduction.

  • A structured onboarding plan
  • Internal introductory courses
  • Opportunity for relevant external courses
  • Training from internal responsible staff
  • Thorough introduction to, among other things, transfers, emergency preparedness, nutrition, hygiene, medication and shift planning
  • Ongoing support and professional sparring in everyday life

Working hours

The work is arranged with 15-hour shifts in the time window 06:45–22:15. The long shifts provide the opportunity to follow the residents through a larger part of the day and create continuity and calm in the relationship.

If you thrive in a job with responsibility, presence and human contact, and if you would like to be part of a daily life where you make a concrete difference for other people, we would love to hear from you.
