Pedagogue / educational staff member for Fritidsklubben Folehaven in Fritidscenter Indre Valby

We are seeking an employee for a permanent position in our youth club. You should be eager to develop the pedagogical practice around our children and young people through collaborative and inclusive activities.

Fritidscenter Indre Valby consists of six leisure clubs, a junior club offering, an UngeVærk and UnderVærk, as well as an outreach team. The leisure center covers an area around Sydhavnen, Sjælør, Folehaven, Enghave and Sluseholmen, and primarily receives children from the nearby schools.

Fritidscenter Indre Valby is part of the leisure cluster VVK, which covers the municipal 10-18 year leisure services in Valby. The cluster consists of two leisure centers: FC Indre Valby and FC Ydre Valby.

We are looking for an employee for the leisure club in Folehaven.

Work hours are primarily between 12:00 and 17:00, and in addition there is expected participation in camps, overnight stays and similar, just as there may occasionally be events, activities or staff days on weekends.

At Fritidscenter Indre Valby we work with KIDS KLUB, which is a research-based tool to assess the pedagogical quality of our offerings. We use KIDS KLUB to develop and improve the environments that constitute children and young people’s well-being, learning and development, including especially the physical surroundings, relationships as well as play and activities. This is done, among other things, through ongoing observation of practice over longer periods to provide a picture of development, and at the same time to gain insight into areas that can be worked on further.

We are seeking a new colleague who

• has experience with children and young people aged 10-13 years
• can do a lot with activities of different kinds, and who wants to work with longer-term projects - and who through experience can create a good culture and motivation for participation
• perhaps is trained as a pedagogue, perhaps has another education, or perhaps just is an active person who can do a lot. It is not so important, as long as you genuinely want to create a meaningful everyday life for our children and young people
• is a team player who can also work independently and who is loyal to agreements and completes their tasks
• has reasonable competences in using computers and other digital media, as we work in Outlook, SharePoint and Aula (you will receive an introduction to all of it)

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment conditions according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.

The position is a permanent role of 30 hours per week.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible and preferably no later than 1 January 2027.

Before employment we will obtain references as well as a child and criminal record. Note that we obtain the extended criminal record check, which goes 10 years back.
