Park & Vej seeks employee for green maintenance

Would you like to help maintain and develop green areas in Allerød Municipality? Park & Vej is seeking a versatile and committed employee for one of our teams, with start as soon as possible.

There is a full-time position at 37 hours per week. We expect starting no later than December 1, 2026. The working hours are between 7.00 - 15.30 Monday – Thursday and 7.00 - 12.00 Friday.

About the job

Park & Vej is an independent company in the Technical and Operations department in Allerød Municipality. We are based at Materielgården in Lynge. Park & Vej is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's roads, green areas, outdoor areas at schools and institutions, and sports facilities.

• Operation of the associated machinery and tools during minor repairs
• Professional and personal development opportunities and easy access to everyone, from the manager and colleagues
• A daily life where you are involved in decisions and must take responsibility for the daily tasks
• Other miscellaneous work within the operations area
• Winter service during the on-call period (currently Nov 15 to Mar 15) – i.e., you are available according to a shift rota during the period

• Have a positive attitude that helps create job satisfaction for yourself and your collaborative relationships
• Be flexible, diligent, reliable
• Preferably be trained in the trade, where you can prioritise tasks and plan accordingly
• Minimum hold a category B driving license and preferably BE
• Experience operating machines and tools for green area maintenance from a similar position
