Who is Børnehaven Myretuen

Our lovely kindergarten is located in Valsgård, a little north of Hobro. Here, children encounter recognition, respect and care – and are allowed to develop at their own pace. We know that children thrive best when they experience secure relationships, are involved in their own daily lives and can explore the world with curiosity and enthusiasm. We offer a large playground with plenty of physical learning environments, and year-round we take exciting trips to the city forest, the lake and the Music Haven.

In our daily work we focus on presence, the good relationship and on seeing each individual child – while promoting self-reliance. Collaboration with parents is an important part of everyday life – it is in the community that we develop the children. We also have a close collaboration with the local childminders and Valsgård School, so the transition between institutions becomes safe and natural.

Our practice is based on Mariagerfjord Municipality's pedagogical frameworks – KVALid, ICDP, H & H, System Theory: The Shared Pedagogical Foundation and the Children and Youth Policy – which we integrate directly into the kindergarten's daily life to ensure high quality, safety and development opportunities for all children.

We are looking for someone who

• Wants to work with children aged 3–6 years
• Wants to/has experience with pedagogical work
• Can put the children and the core task at the center
• Highly values being an active part of the children's play
• Has a presence and caring view of children
• Wants to be involved in creating safe and developing learning environments with a basis in the child’s perspective, frameworks, routines and structure
• Can work independently and professionally
• Is curious, initiative-takers and can reflect, as well as give and receive collegial sparring with a view to the development of each individual child
• Values communication highly
• Sees parents as valuable teammates
• Perhaps considers continuing study to become a pedagog— we are happy to support that

Salary and terms of employment

Employment is on collective agreement terms, where the salary is agreed with the bargaining-empowered organization.

Criminal and child protection checks will be obtained, and the employment is conditional on these being approved.

About Daycare Area Midt

Børnehaven Myretuen is part of Daycare Area Midt in Mariagerfjord Municipality. It is a diverse daycare consisting of six kindergartens – three in Hobro town, one in Onsild, one in Hobro North and one in Valsgård.
